Getting Around The Local Area By Bike

Depending on how confident and fit a cyclist you are, there are a range of destinations that can be accessed by bike from Spofforth Park.

Wetherby town centre can be reached in around a 10-minute cycle, where there are supermarkets, restaurants, cafes and much more.

Looking to cycle for leisure? National cycle Network (NCN) Route 67 is nearby and provides convenient links with Spofforth and Harrogate. A large part of this route is referred to as the Wetherby Railway Path, a leisurely route which runs alongside a disused railway line providing direct access to Spofforth Castle. The castle can be reached in just 15-minutes and is free to explore; so why not combine cycle with a fantastic day out?
