Catch the Train

Train travel offers a practical and economical alternative to the car for many journeys, whether for commuting, travelling for business or leisure.

Although there is no train station in the immediate area, you can drive to Pannal station in around 15 minutes and there are 40 car parking spaces available. From here frequent trains run to destinations such as Leeds, York, Knaresborough, Poppleton, Horsforth, Harrogate and Headingley. You can also cycle to the station in around 40 minutes and there are cycle racks available in the station’s car park.

From Pannal you can catch the train to Leeds in just 30 minutes or you can be in York in around 50 minutes. Both Leeds and York stations provide a wide range of services to various national destinations including: Newcastle, Liverpool Lime Street, London Kings Cross, Middlesbrough, Manchester Victoria, Glasgow, Penzance, Aberdeen, Southampton and many more!
